What does the MCA status check show?

Enter a CIN to see whether a company has been struck off by the RoC (STK-7, Section 248), or a DIN to see whether a director has been disqualified under Section 164. Each flag links to the official MCA source document.

Is a clear result a guarantee of compliance?

No. MCA publishes these lists with a lag, and a strike-off notice or 164(2) disqualification can be in progress before it is listed. Use this as a fast first screen, not a substitute for full due diligence.

Company struck off?

A struck-off company is removed from the Register — it can't contract or hold assets. Revival needs an NCLT order under Section 252.

Director disqualified?

Under Section 164(2), one non-filing company can disqualify a director across every board for 5 years.
